Boca Juniors beat Milan for third place at the Audi Cup

Boca Juniors won the match for third place at the Audi Cup in Munich, beating AC Milan 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 result.

Thiago Silva put Milan ahead after 26 minutes, as the Italians looked to have recovered from Wednesday's 4-1 defeat to hosts Bayern.

But the Argentinians scored through Lucas Viatri with just three minutes to go, and penalties were needed to decide which team was to finish third at this inaugural Audi Cup.

In the shoot-out, both sides had already missed one penalty when Milan's Pato had the final spot kick saved by keeper Abbondanzieri, thereby handing the victory to Boca.

Abbondanzieri! Boca's goalkeeper blocking overrated Pato's goal. How long do we wait to see him in the Premier League??

Wow, Milan is now 0 and 5 in the last 5 games! Great thinking Milan management 12.5 mil for Fabiano, no Kaka, no Maldini, no Ancelotti, and oh yeah Leonardo who's never even coached a high school team! Wake the fuck up!

I disagree with you about Pato being overrated. He is the only decent player Milan has! He's only 19. He has a lot of potential and great lungs and work ethic. Too bad he doesn't have much support. The only good call Milan made this season was to keep Pato. Trust me, if he doesn't impress you already, he will in a very short time. That boy can only go up.

To me this Overrated AC Milan already "GAME OVER" in Serie A.............. this club is even worst than Chievo .............hahahahahahahahahaha

Poor Milan fans "STILL" believe in miracles (so dumb & childish) and can not "ACCEPT" the truth (just get over it!) ;D

I meant players like Ribery, Torres, Huntelaar, etc. They will look good with Gattuso, Pirlo, Pato, Inzaghi and Ronaldinho.
